One week on and we’re still riding the high from a night that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

A Night to Remember

Over 300 runners turned up at Cardiff Bay’s Mermaid Quay for the Puresport; It’s Personal 5K Challenge Tour, an evening that was so much more than chasing prizes or finish times. Yes, there were rewards for completing the 5K, but the real win was the community it brought together. Run Clubs from all over Cardiff, fans of the brand and individuals looking to join a new crew of like-minded runners.

As the penultimate location on Puresports 10 city tour, the vibes were high at Cardiff’s Esquires Coffee, the perfect hub for pre-run intros and finish line refuelling. People arrived as strangers, shared a run, and left with new connections that reach far beyond the miles they covered together.

Building Community one run at a time

Running has a way of breaking you down in the best possible way. It strips away ego and invites honesty, at times leaving you humble, but with the simple truth that moving together is better than going alone.

Why does it mean so much?

We felt truly lucky to be given the platform to share a bit of what EZ.RC is all about, not just as a run club, but as a community. One that’s built on kindness, connection, and a belief that running is for everyone.

There are so many barriers that stop people from joining things like run clubs, the fear of not being fast enough, fit enough, or just enough. But the beauty of EZ.RC is that it’s never been about pace or perfection, it’s always been about the people.

Nights like this prove what happens when you open the door wide and remind people that running is for everyone.

We are so grateful to @Puresport for giving crews like ours the chance to be seen, supported, and celebrated for what we really stand for. This is just the beginning.
